St Joseph Classical

Promoting Well-trained Minds and Faithful Hearts

St Joseph Classical (SJC) is a one day per week homeschool support program at St. Joseph Ypsilanti for students in grades 1st through 8th. Atrium I and II are available as well.

The mission of SJC is to support families who wish to homeschool their children in truth, knowledge, and the Catholic faith.

SJC, created and directed by Anna Nowaczewski, is provided by St. Joseph Church, located at 9425 Whittaker Rd, in Ypsilanti, MI.

Classes are held on Wednesdays and begin with 9:30 am Mass. The curriculum includes year long studies of science and history. The final period of the day offers a math lab for grades 7 to 9 and Religious Education for grades 1 to 6. The day concludes with an optional Chess Club which ends at 4:30 pm.

School starts in mid-September and ends the first week of May.

For more information, contact Anna Nowaczewski, SJC Director, at annan@sjypsi.com or call the Parish Office with any questions.

Three main concepts encompass the SJC mission:
