The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, or OCIA, is the process for adults to enter into the Catholic faith. It was previously known as RCIA or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a time of prayer, education and personal experience of the Catholic faith to prepare an adult to become a full member of the Catholic Church.
